Hello!

About Jennifer

Hello! My name is Jennifer Binnendyk, I am the owner and Acupuncturist at Eastern Plains Acupuncture & Wellness. I am dedicated to creating patient-centered healthcare by providing an individualized protocol that supports all your needs.

Through Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, Jennifer encourages your innate healing potential by treating the root cause of your dis-ease. She believes in the importance of preventing injury and illness, therefore, enhancing the way you look and feel so that you can achieve your goals and live a more balanced and vibrant life.

Jennifer first came across acupuncture when she was doing some ‘soul-searching’ to find the right career that made her feel like an asset to society. With a genuine care for others and a strong belief in natural medicine and the power of healing, she enrolled at the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2012. She completed the program in 28 months, with 2,265 hours of training in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). She earned her Masters of Science in Acupuncture in 2015. Her education has motivated her to learn more about this ancient way of healing through the manipulation of your body's energy. Jennifer is a Colorado licensed Acupuncturist trained and certified in Clean Needle Technique and uses only sterile, single-use needles. The safety and comfort of her patients is her highest priority.

My Personal Story:

As a mother of two little ones, I am continually reminded of the importance of balance. Just like life, TCM is about balance. While, I have not yet mastered the art of balancing life, I use acupuncture as a way to help me feel more connected and stable and consider acupuncture one of my favorite self-care necessities. I see the value of being a healthy role model to my children and others and the importance of preventative practices. I feel aligned and in my ‘realm’ when providing acupuncture to others, and get a pure sense of joy when I witness the amazing results of strategically placing needles over your body and balancing your energy.

I have always found purpose serving my community and am excited to help you reach your goals in feeling more balanced in your body, mind, and spirit.

Jennifer's Philosophy as an Acupuncturist

- I’m here to help you ignite your bodies own natural HEALING abilities.

       - I believe that our bodies have the ability to self-heal.

- Because no body is the same, I believe in precise diagnosis and treatments individualized to every specific patient.

       - Finding the root of your condition and applying a holistic approach that looks at your body system as a whole, not just a collection of your symptoms.

- I value pharmaceutical medications and life saving technologies, and recognize that at times is necessary.

       - I believe that pharmaceuticals are not the only option you have regarding your health concerns.

- I believe in  educating the patient and setting you up for success.

       - Having the desire to take charge of your health is what motivates us to being committed thus create long-term changes in our life. When you understand the process you are more inclined to achieve positive change.
